HPC Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. was established to provide cleaning solutions of the highest quality for personal, industrial, commercial, and domestic requirements. Founded by a group of technocrats in 1998, the company is singularly focused on harnessing the power of innovative research and technology to devise cleaning solutions that are par excellent in quality and safety.
In India, the company operates out of its head office in Mumbai, with manufacturing facilities located in Umbergaon, Gujarat. HPC has a strong presence in Western India through its state-of-the-art and FDA-certified manufacturing facility as well as its close proximity to the country’s financial hub.
In addition to this, our devoted R&D team is well-equipped to cater to any and every need for customisation, where they can support the development of unique formulations in cleansing, bath products, body products, handwashes, and so on, for hotels and hospitals. Depending on the need of the client, our team can also aid in the inclusion of specific fragrances in these products. Our History

HPC was established as a contract manufacturing firm in 1990 and was initially known as The Umargam Industries. The company was initially set up to help multinational businesses with their packaging requirements on a customised and need-based basis. Our founder, Mr Malay Sanghvi, first supported Kimberly Clark with their packaging requirement when
Unilever failed to cater to their excessively small packaging size. This early partnership with Kimberley Clark when they had just arrived in India proved to be a robust foundation for the launch and growth of Umargam Industries. What started with contract manufacturing and handwash products soon branched into hand sanitisers and wider cleaning solutions for different industries. The enterprise was formally rechristened to HPC Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. in 2013.
Mr. Malay himself has extensive experience working within the plastics industry, being a Polymer engineer himself. His work with Kimberly Clark, supported by Unilever, was what cemented his interest in the field of contract manufacturing and hygiene solutions. While Mr Sanghvi focused on the external expansion and global growth of the business, his wife, Mrs Parul Sanghvi, shifted from her homemaker duties to a more hands-on role within the enterprise. She took charge of the internal operations and has led the successful project delivery of the business within the country.
